Intensely toned with iridescent colors on the obverse, with flashy green near the date, reddish gold to gold elsewhere, while the reverse is white with a bit of gold at the rim. These were almost certainly housed for many years in a Wayte Raymond album as the toning is typical (and beautiful) of similar coins from those albums. A lovely pair for the collector. PCGS has graded only 67 this high of the date with just 2 higher, both one notch above. The fields are simply superb, and just a few ticks can be found with a strong glass. Exceptionally colorful and if you really want a spectacular coin, here it is! One small bright white area above Liberty's cap which is untoned, and the usual weak strike near the periphery is noted.
